"I learned that if I didn’t define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people’s fantasies for me and eaten alive."

Retreat Planning with R+R

R+R is a moment of community care. It is a cultivation of stillness + rest.

Through that portal of rest, we can reimagine our systems, our movements, + ourselves. Rest is not a luxury; it is essential, both fundamental + instrumental.

To create the kind of change that this moment requires, we will need to rest in order to reimagine.

"People think [rest is] just some fuzzy little luxury wellness idea, & they literally are not understanding that when you go there, it’s a space of deep imagination, deep generative freedom for us... Rest is really literally going to be the foundation to build this new world."

- Tricia Hersey, Resting on and for the Earth  (2021)
